Cookie policy

How we use cookies, local storage, and optional marketing or analytics tags.

Cookie policy

Last updated: April 2026

This policy describes how Benito uses cookies and similar technologies on the marketing site and related pages served from https://benito-digital.com, including login and registration flows. For general processing of personal data, see our Privacy policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use similar technologies (for example browser local storage or pixels loaded by third-party tools you approve).

Your choice (consent)

When you first visit, you can accept non-essential technologies or reject them. Your choice is stored in browser local storage under the key benito_cookie_consent (first-party, on this site). Typical values include tokens such as all or essential. You can open Cookie settings from the site UI to change or clear this preference.

Where we load Google tags, we initialise Google Consent Mode so that optional measurement or advertising tags respect your choice before non-essential cookies are used.

Strictly necessary

These are required for security and basic operation, for example: session and authentication cookies, CSRF protection, security cookies, and the consent preference storage described above. Optional diagnostic flags set by administrators may add further technical cookies; they are not used for marketing.

Optional analytics and advertising

With your consent, we may load Google Tag Manager and, through it, tags such as Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, or tags from social advertising platforms. Which tags fire depends on your consent and on how the site is configured in the admin CMS (for example marketing “web tag” slots). Those services may set or read their own cookies subject to their policies.

Third-party embeds

Some pages may embed payment, video, or authentication flows from other providers. Those providers may use their own cookies when you interact with their content.

Managing cookies in your browser

You can block or delete cookies and site data through browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may prevent parts of Benito from working correctly.
